Along the way, you may stop for refreshments or photos before continuing toward Fes.

Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the fascinating atmosphere of the ancient medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest car-free urban areas in the world. Wander through its maze-like alleys filled with traditional souks, artisan workshops, and historic monuments. Visit iconic sites such as the Al Quaraouiyine University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the famous leather tanneries, where centuries-old techniques are still in use. Depart early from Fes and journey south toward Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara Desert. After breakfast in Dades Valley, begin your journey toward Marrakech, traveling through some of Morocco’s most spectacular landscapes. Along the way, pass through the Valley of Roses and the town of Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its famous film studios and cinematic history.

A key highlight of the day is a visit to the remarkable Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best-preserved fortified villages (ksars) in Morocco. Explore its ancient mud-brick architecture, narrow alleys, and hilltop views that have served as a backdrop for many international films and series.

Afterward, continue your drive through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest road pass in Morocco. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before descending toward Marrakech, where you arrive in the late afternoon or evening.
